I'm not sure if the other reply went through so I'll do it again. Perhaps Messenger or Google Hangout.
Alright. I use Google Hangouts all the time, and it's on more devices than just my phone. Never heard of Messenger though.
If you wanted, you may be able to make it so your phone alerts you to Hangouts messages.
